استشاط غضبا (ḡaḍaban) to be or become fuming with rage, flare up, fly off the handle


Root: ش-ي-ط

Page: 581*

Example: “اِسْتَشاطَ غَضَباً عِنْدَما أَدْرَكَ أَنَّ زَوْجَتَهُ قَد خَدَعَتهُ”

Translation: “he was fuming with rage when he realised that his wife had deceived him”
