Translation: “she didn’t want to hear about whatever escapades he got up to in her absence”
Notes:
- In the dictionary, we also find a cool collocation of this word: شَطَحات خَيالِهِ, meaning “unbridled excesses of the imagination” or “extravagant fantasy”. The form I verb creates a similar meaning in the phrase شَطَحَ في خَيالِهِ: “to make too wide a use of unbridled imagination (author)”
